A VISION REIMAGINES MIAMI. One idea. One neighborhood. Two decades of transformation.

Over twenty years ago, Miami native and visionary Craig Robins recognized the untapped potential in a forgotten corner of the city. His vision: reinvent the area through design, architecture, and culture. With every acquisition, restoration, and commission, the Miami Design District was born and began to shift – first quietly, then remarkably. Showrooms arrived. Art collections expanded. Dining took root and the neighborhood once overlooked emerged as a beacon of modern Miami.

In 2011, L Catterton (then L Real Estate) joined Robins as a development partner, shaping the District’s next evolution. This collaboration encouraged the luxury maisons of LVMH to establish architectural flagship experiences that reflect the full breadth of their identities. For a neighborhood defined by reinvention, this was only the beginning.

A vision reimagines Miami. One idea. One neighborhood. Two decades of transformation.

The neighborhood isn’t slowing down as restaurants, galleries, shops, and soon a boutique hotel emerge and continue to shape the next era. Guided by a master plan from DPZ CoDesign, nearly one million square feet of high-end retail will be framed by hospitality, residential developments and dynamic public spaces, ensuring culture remains its foundation.
