Carolina Herrera officially has a new home in the Miami Design District. The New York-based fashion house opened its nearly 3,000-square-foot flagship boutique on Aug. 15 at 127 NE 41st St., marking the brand’s sixth U.S. boutique just as the House celebrates its 45th anniversary.
“The Carolina Herrera woman is bold, elegant, and joyful. She embraces color, expresses herself with confidence, and never shies away from making an entrance,” shares Wes Gordon, the creative director of the brand. “Her energy is magnetic – much like the spirit of Miami – so it feels entirely natural that we should open our next home here.”
Inside, explore the complete world of Carolina Herrera, including ready-to-wear, eveningwear, handbags, accessories, beauty, fragrance and eyewear.

TAKING A MIAMI LENS
The shopping experience begins well before walking inside. Envisioned by Gordon, the custom façade offers a bold and welcoming experience, utilizing a grand architectural arch paired with a sculptural limestone finish. Developed in partnership with interior designer Brandi Howe and Jessica Hyland of Hyland Studio, the space unmistakably retains Carolina Herrera’s identity while dialing up Miami’s signature spirit with custom furnishings that reflect the brand’s joy, warmth and optimism.
“For the past several years, we have been working closely with Craig Robins and his team to find the perfect location where our women’s ready-to-wear and accessory collections will complement the district’s mix with our vibrant, feminine point of view,” says President Emilie Rubinfeld.
Soft pink Venetian plaster infused with shimmering mica brings a subtle glow to the space, while vivid red accents and bold geometric flooring made with white limestone and rare blush-pink travertine offer a striking contrast. Showcasing the House’s affinity for color, the main salon features a sculptural serpentine sofa serving as the room’s natural gathering point, and a sculptural staircase leads shoppers to the second floor, where Carolina Herrera Beauty welcomes shoppers into another dimension of the House.

ARTFUL EXPLORATIONS
In a neighborhood known for its artistic exploration, art remains a defining thread throughout the boutique. Argentine artist Constanza Vallese created a custom floral motif for Carolina Herrera, appearing across sculptural tables, vases and decorative fixtures. Los Angeles-based artist Liz Oliver created a dramatic textile installation suspended above the boutique’s salon. Handcrafted ceramic planters by Brooklyn-based, all-women studio Choplet Ceramics are also displayed throughout the boutique, adding yet another layer of female craftsmanship.
“Miami Design District is a place where great brands are encouraged to fully animate their artistic vision. With this new store, Carolina Herrera has blended architecture, design and materiality to immerse customers in their world, whether they are longtime devotees or experiencing it for the first time,” shares Craig Robins, founder and CEO of Dacra, who has led the development of the Miami Design District.
Forty-five years in, Carolina Herrera is embarking on its newest chapter, one rooted in craftsmanship, artistic collaboration and joyful elegance that feeling fitting for Miami.
