The afternoon will feature a 16mm film projection of archival films from the Miami-Dade Public Library’s collection, curated by Forrest Cannaday. Bringing together films exploring nature, Florida history, and our relationship to the land, the screening extends many themes present throughout the exhibition.
Visitors will also be invited to spend time with the work through an ekphrastic poetry activity, with materials provided to write poems in response to photographs in the exhibition.
