Completed in December of 2009, the de la Cruz Collection is privately funded by collectors Rosa and Carlos de la Cruz. The 30,000 square foot museum serves as an extension of the couple's home where, for over 30 years, they have shared with the public their passion for art, collecting, and education. The Collection provides annual exhibitions with a focus on contemporary art, accessible to all audiences at no cost, and supports the local community through public programming that includes lectures, artist-led workshops, student travel, and pre-college programs. On view now is More / Less, which further explores shifts in contemporary visual culture, as revealed through the vision of collectors, Rosa and Carlos de la Cruz.
