Celebrating 20 Years in the Miami Design District
Swampspace is celebrating two decades of artistic innovation with Uncle Ollie’s Piano Lounge, a landmark exhibition honoring its legacy as a long-standing artist-run project space. Marking the gallery’s 100th cultural event, the program features an open-mic piano, a salon of old and new works by founder Oliver Sanchez, and a digital photo essay that chronicles the visionary development of the Design District through his perspective.
For 20 years, Swampspace has provided mentorship to emerging artists and served as an unsung steward of Miami’s thriving arts ecosystem. Visitors are invited to share their own Swampspace memories and take home a unique “swampy” souvenir.
This milestone exhibition launches a season of cultural promise that will culminate in the city’s most anticipated celebration Miami Art Week 2025.
