Men can never truly understand the feeling a new pair of shoes gives a woman. Or can they? It’s an argument any man who’s walked a mile in Berluti shoes could easily address.
The luxury shoe brand opens its second shop in the States, this time around in Miami’s Design District.
Inside the chic boutique, find a white, cube-like gallery, artsy lighting, purple leather display cubes, worldly prints and a parquet floor all serving as the backdrop to the store’s main attractions: shoes, leather goods and ready-to-wear wonders. The addition of this type of clothing to the boutique is a first for the U.S.
Slip into one of the beach hut-inspired fitting rooms (an homage to our beachy haven), or take in the store’s centerpiece, an Ora Ito designed pool table.
This is, after all, a man’s world.
A sharp-dressed man’s world. The brand’s latest collection features bespoke pieces (25 total, ranging from overcoats to chinos and a hybrid shirt jacket that’s sure to become an instant staple) with impeccable tailoring. A throwback to the classic Italian man. It’s casual but chic. And it’s exactly what you would expect from the Berluti family, who’ve been in the fashion game since 1895.
