Damien Hirst, Daniel Arsham, and Joel Mesler, oh my!

Tiffany & Co. reenters the District in a big way with the reopening of its two-story, 4,000-square-foot boutique. The temporary closure was certainly worth the wait, and the new store is a visual feast for lovers of modern art, exclusive sparkle, and impeccable interior design.

In celebration of the reopening, the exterior of the store is illuminated with a flowering blossom artwork designed by internationally acclaimed artist Damien Hirst. This experiential art sets the stage for what visitors will experience upon entering the impeccably detailed boutique.

Spread over two floors, bauble seekers can peruse the brand’s signature collections, including Lock by Tiffany, HardWear by Tiffany, T by Tiffany and Knot by Tiffany, along with the Tiffany High Jewelry and Jean Schlumberger gallery of the jeweler’s most unique creations and never before seen jewels.

Interior design is of the utmost consideration. Visitors are immersed in a distinctly Tiffany ambiance, featuring warm wooden floors, custom sisal runners woven with hints of Tiffany Blue, and custom-made lighting, including six blown glass Venini chandeliers in a swirling Tiffany Blue and white pattern adorning the main floor. Video screens on the ground floor boast iconic scenes of South Beach in a sensory display by Oyoram Visual Artist. Upon ascending to the second floor, thoughtful details such as hand-woven geometric ceiling textiles, ornate vintage furniture, and of course, Tiffany lamps, decorate the space.

Tiffany fans might have some touches of design deja vu, as The Miami Design District boutique redesign comes on the heels of The Landmark’s reopening on Fifth Avenue in New York City and offers several nods to that location’s design, such as the custom staircase with silver gilded walls inspired by The Landmark’s store. Additionally, the Daniel Arsham Bronze Venus Italica (XL) sculpture at the foot of the stairs matches the one on display at The Landmark.

The Tiffany & Co. boutique is located at 160 Northeast 40th Street. Private shopping experiences are also available.
