Barcelona’s buzziest export has landed in Miami. Nude Project, the Spanish streetwear brand known for its loose silhouettes, low-key attitude, and creative collaborations, has opened its first U.S. pop-up in the Miami Design District. The space, at 151 NE 41st Street, Room 129, runs through October 26 and marks the label’s first trip across the Atlantic.

Founded in 2019 by friends Bruno Casanovas and Álex Benlloch, Nude Project started as a college side hustle and turned into one of Europe’s fastest-growing fashion brands. Its look is stripped back but intentional: wide-leg denim, relaxed tailoring, and muted neutrals that somehow still stand out. The clothes read as effortlessly cool, the type of pieces that look like you just grabbed a chic item out of your closet without too much thinking.

The Miami pop-up opened on October 11 with a crowd that wrapped around the block, more than 2,000 people deep. Inside, the location feels closer to an art space than a shop. Minimalist displays, neutral lighting, and a towering central tree fill the room. There’s a bookcase that doubles as a photo booth and music that hums just loud enough to make you want to stay a little longer.

True to form, Nude treats retail like a social experiment. Throughout the two-week run, the space will host live art, DJ sessions, and pop-up showcases under the brand’s guiding mantra, By Artists, For Artists. Casanovas calls the Miami Design District a natural fit. “It’s multicultural, creative, and constantly blending the urban with the artistic,” he said. “The energy here feels like home.”

The pop-up also aligns with Billboard Latin Music Week, which means visitors can expect special performances and surprise collaborations from musicians and artists passing through town. Past events in Berlin, Paris, and Lisbon mixed fashion and performance art, and this one promises the same blend, with European design eye filtered through a Miami lens.

For the brand’s founders, the goal is less about sales and more about connection. “We want people to come in, take a breath, and understand that Nude is more than clothing,” Casanovas said. “It’s attitude, community, and purpose.”
