Housed in a historic home in the unique Buena Vista neighborhood just a few blocks north of the Design District is The District Miami, one of the most buzzed about new restaurants in South Florida.
The Contemporary Pan-American restaurant’s menu was created by Partner and Executive Chef Horacio Rivadero, who was recently nominated by Food and Wine Magazine’s 2012 Best New Chef for the Gulf Region. The menu combines the flavors of North, South, Central America and the Caribbean, highlighting the best dishes each area has to offer.
The restaurant’s menu doesn’t disappoint with dishes ranging from signature ceviches to a hearty Lamb Duo and tuna tartare and lobster malanga tacos to an all-American Prime Angus Burger. The District doesn’t skimp out on dessert either offering items like a 4-Leches Parfait and a Guava and Goat Cheese Pastelito.
This Pan-American fare is complemented by the bar’s carefully curated selection of boutique wines, available by the glass or the bottle and artisanal craft beers, available on tap or draft and a Bar Bite Menu offered daily with special priced beer and wine.
The District Miami’s concept was envisioned and brought to life by Managing Partner Alexander Ringleb, who has worked in some of the most renowned restaurants in the country including Casa Tua and DeVito’s in Miami, Balthazar & Pastis in New York and Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills, California.
“I wanted to create the perfect combination of a warm and inviting atmosphere with enticing cuisine,” said Ringleb. “With its Pan- American fusion, The District Miami will embody what Miami is today, a true blend of cultures.”
The District Miami is located on 190 NE 46th Street, Miami, FL. 33137 and is open daily at 5 p.m.
