For some sole therapy, one need only visit Emèna Spa. Insiders know that for a one-way ticket to bliss, a 90-minute Reflexology Pedicure with the “Foot Master” Rick Spence is in order. Also known around town as the “Foot God,” Rick works tirelessly to bring pep back into his clients’ step — not to mention perfectly manicured toes. With over a decade of foot reflexology experience under his belt, it’s no small wonder this particular spa menu item draws the most raving customer reviews for locally loved Emèna Spa, which turns five this May.

“For Rick, a foot is not just a foot — it’s a piece of art waiting to be exhibited. He pays very close attention to detail during the purification and fine-tuning of your feet,” Emèna Spa owner Christina Kesaris says.

The 411 on the $95 treatment?

First of all, kick off your shoes and relax! Rick uses an alternative form of medicine, reflexology, to zap stress and tension with a tried-and-true regimen. First, he applies pressure to predefined points, which manages to melt away any strain and simultaneously increases circulation. Next, Rick massages feet, leaving each foot as smooth as butter. Rick wraps up each treatment by polishing each toe with Essie, Zoya or OPI nail lacquers.

Talk about over the top!
