Tiffany & Co has been the go-to brand for statement making jewels for more than 175 years. Their latest location in the Miami Design District, continues the tradition with a stunning 3,900-square-foot store that pays homage to the city’s Art Deco influences.
Tiffany Vice President Jonathan Bruckner, notes “The store is unique in its kind, and features important works by talented artists selected by our Design Director, Francesca Amfitheatrof, in tribute to the vision and creativity that have made Miami’s Design District a top destination for residents and tourists alike. All are welcome to discover our renowned collections and to enjoy a shopping experience that is unrivalled among the world’s jewelers.”
And discover you will. The new store has 3 jewelry salons that showcase jewels from engagement rings (some with Tiffany Yellow Diamonds), bejeweled masterpieces of Jean Schlumberger, sculptural designs of Elsa Peretti, colorful collections of Paloma Picasso and the Tiffany T collection created by Amfitheatrof.
Also on display are works of art from Swedish artist Paul Fägerskiöld, Berlin-based Thilo Heinzmann, Belgian photographer Antoine Rose as well as Miami-born Michele Oka Doner to list a few.
While there are plenty of shiny pretty things inside, the outside should not be overlooked. The facade of the building with the fluted gray limestone and polished black granite is inspired by Deco skyscrapers and evocative of the brand’s 5th Avenue store in New York City.
