Whimsical, colorful and Instagram-worthy, designer Gelareh Mizrahi’s namesake collection of handbags and accessories are just the ultimate trifecta. From python the Take Out Bag (think: plastic shopping bag that you’d get at a bodega), clutches shaped like pizza, French fries and even Karl Lagerfeld’s likeness, you can now find all these must-haves in the new 1,300-square-foot store located in the Design District.

Elevating everyday items like a plastic bag and pizza, the well-crafted handbags, pins, wallets and accessories are sure to make you smile. In addition to the more whimsical pieces, Mizrahi designs classic style bags as well like the Top Handle Python Clutch that come with a detachable bag charm ranging from a palm tree, smiley face and rainbow.

The clean, minimalist vibe of the boutique lends itself to show off all her pieces that are made from luxurious, sustainably sourced python. Mizrahi's vibrant creations are celebrity and influencer favorites and have been seen on Taylor Swift, Emma Roberts, Hannah Bronfman, Eva Chen and Leandra Medine.

Mizrahi got her start at Parsons School of Design and first launched a python covered skateboard in 2012, which she still creates today, and is the reason the otherwise minimalist vibe of the boutique has a 40-foot mini-vert skate ramp as the focal point. That’s right, you can skateboard in the store. Stemming from her original skateboard design, as well as her creative vision and urban-inspired flair and desire to bring the community, Mizrahi wanted to have the indoor ramp.

“The point of the store is to bring people together through creativity, give them a space they feel comfortable being themselves in, without expectation. If they buy something because they feel a connection, that’s great, but this experience is more about hosting and sharing than it is about selling,” says Mizrahi.
