For the past three decades, FENDI Casa has elegantly joined expert craftsmanship, exquisite design and sophisticated innovation to define the FENDI lifestyle that embodies the brand’s iconic reputation and creates unparalleled living spaces.
In 1988 when the brand ventured into home furnishings, the goal was to elevate interiors the way in which the design house had been elevating wardrobes across the world with their fashions. From its inception, FENDI Casa’s contemporary aesthetics graced homes around the world, private jets and yachts yet always stayed true to their made-in-Italy roots and production. One of the first pieces designed, the Farnese sofa, personified the brands aesthetic, including the iconic Fendi FF logo, designed by Karl Lagerfeld in 1965, by merging clean, balanced lines with the print.
As FENDI Casa evolved from sofas to armchairs, accessories and lighting fixtures there wasn’t a room that they couldn’t furnished with their sophisticated collections, which still rings true today.
To celebrate its anniversary, the design house pays homage to three iconic products, each signifying one decade of the FENDI Casa Heritage, with an updated twist. These new interpretations of the classics will be exhibited in the Luxury Living showroom in the Miami Design District from September 27th through October 5th. First launched in 1994 the Cosima dormouse, receives an updated look. The new version of these leather chairs features a seat upholstered in blue nabuck leather combined with the Claudio armchair and the Ripetta pouf.
The second reinvention, the instant icon of style, the Eros sofa (2004), has be reproduced with beige leather upholstery and contrasting blue details, a departure from the original, powdery-hued, crocodile-effect leather upholstery.
And lastly, the new One sofa of 2018, a stylish and contemporary sectional to suit any modern, elegant space.
FENDI Casa is located inside Luxury Living Showroom at 50 NE 39th Street in the Design District.
