Everyone who’s anyone has heard about Swan and Bar Bevy, the much-anticipated addition to the Miami Design District from nightlife impresario, David Grutman, and rapper, singer and hospitality aficionado, Pharrell Williams. Spanning 13,500 square feet, this restaurant and lounge is as charming as its owners are popular. A setting with two spots in one, Swan and Bar Bevy each beat to the pulse of Miami in different ways. No matter which side you choose for your night out #atMDD, this three-way collab—which includes Top Chef Europe champ, Jean Imbert, who the duo tapped as Executive Chef — is the dining destination everyone in Miami is buzzing about.

In true Williams fashion, Imbert, who has cooked for Williams many times in the past, has come up with a menu that diners are sure to be happy about. Influenced by local, sustainably-sourced ingredients, the "modern-chic" menu at Swan highlights signature dishes like Snapper Sashimi with mango, serrano chili and pickled kumquats; Dover Sole with brown butter, capers and lemon; a “Standing” Caesar Salad with rosemary bread crumbs, and a Roasted Chicken with a curry-carrot purée, buckwheat and vadouvan. The most raved-about dish is the Corn Corn Corn (which happens to be Pharrell’s favorite!), a creamy polenta dish with popcorn and brown butter. Choose any of them, and there’s an eclectic cocktail to wash it all down. Try the Kalahari, which mixes tequila with watermelon chili, ginger and lime; or the Mon Chéri, which combines a cherry-infused Buffalo Trace bourbon with vanilla, angostura and chocolate bitters.

Of course, no Williams-Grutman project would ever go without a chic scene, something created by the genius of Ken Fulk, a San Francisco- and New York-based interior designer and lifestyle curator. Fulk used the neighborhood’s Miami surroundings as a real-life Pinterest board for the eventual two-story, indoor-outdoor restaurant and cocktail lounge. Find elements of Art Deco in Swan’s pink, creamy opal and jade green color scheme and pink-onyx bar, as well as touches of Magic City fashion with celebrity illustrations done by David Downton.

Bar Bevy, the restaurant’s discreet upstair lounge, is electrifying. Covered in bold reds, blues and animal prints, with velvet seating, brass accents and tapestry-like wallpaper, Bar Bevy comes alive with a DJ booth, karaoke and screening rooms. If you want fresh air, head to the rooftop lounge or snag a seat in the first-floor, outdoor garden. The Kobi Karp fountain and Raymond Jungles design makes the latter of the two nothing short of magical.

Swan and Bar Bevy is located at 90 NE 39th Street. Swan opens for dinner at 7 p.m. nightly, and Bar Bevy is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. For more information about the restaurant and lounge, visit the Swan and Bar Bevy website or call (305) 704-0994.
