READ MORERichard Artschwager an accomplished American artist passed away on Saturday, he was 89 years old. At one point, there were discussions of working with Mr. Artschwager for a project here in the Miami Design District. Sadly, it never came to fruition but he is remembered as having been a very nice and talented man. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends. Perhaps one of our favorite little facts about Mr. Artschwager was that even though he'd been making art for decades — sculpture, painting, drawings and other objects — his college degree was actually in physics. A renaissance man.
