EDGLRD x Miami Design District
The Miami Design District is proud to present a new short film created with EDGLRD, the creative studio founded by Harmony Korine. Blending nature, design, and next-generation technology, the film reimagines the neighborhood as a surreal biophilic dreamscape, alive with blooming digital flora, breathing architecture, and a character moving through an ever-shifting world.
Rather than using technology for spectacle, the film focuses on emotional, human-centered storytelling. AI becomes a creative partner, merging real animal motion, handcrafted textures, and holographic-inspired animation into an imaginative visual language. Guided by the “Always More” campaign, the work reflects the District’s maximalist spirit through vibrant color, mixed-media craft, and organic digital forms. The short film invites viewers in for a feeling of sensory exploration.
