Emmy-winning television producer Michael Honablue will be opening Honablue Studios, a multi-disciplinary pop up in the Miami Design District (MDD) on Black Friday, November 27. In keeping with MDD developer Craig Robins’ art and design-centric vision, the eponymous Honablue Studio will provide a space where visitors can shop as they watch live content being filmed. Located at 4141 NE 2nd Avenue, the studio will serve as the creative hub for MHTV, Honablue’s lifestyle channel available on Firework TV and Apple TV. Fusing the luxury brand-focused videos that Honablue is known for, to his art world connections, Honablue Studio will bring media, art, and commerce into one unique experience.
Honablue explains,"customers will be able to shop and interact with the creator and even content. There will be a story filmed live every day at Honablue Studios. Visitors will be able to feel a part of it and the energy that comes with it.”
Planned programming includes exclusive screening, an exhibition by artist Bradley Theodore, events hosted by renowned model, Veronica Webb and featured pianist, Deniza Derdovski. Even a schedule of morning yoga classes by Yoga4Rescues promises to keep the space alive with activity at all times of day. Retail will play a role with a curated assortment of items for sale by couture designer Cassandra Youngs, swimwear designer Bianca Coletti, and sustainable fashion designer Vero Santes.
