Alma Dance Theater is a recipient of this years Knight Arts Challenge Award for the touring project "Flowers For Spring". Through contemporary dance, "Flowers For Spring" helps to raise awareness about Alzheimer's and inspire activism toward caregiving for the afflicted.
The Knight Arts Challenge Award helps to further promote the communities support for the arts, therefore the recipients are actively matching the grant amount awarded. With the generous support from the Miami Design District - as part of Alma Dance Theater's efforts to match our Knight Arts Challenge Award, the company will be hosting our first ever Knight Arts fundraiser! And we want you to come dance with us to support some of Miami's strongest women!
Please wear your best dancin' shoes, join us on the dance floor, get ready to bid on some beautiful art, have a drink (or two), see ALDT special performances... and invite your friends!
