A new exhibition by Versace and friend of the House, interior designer, Sasha Bikoff debuted during Art Basel Miami Beach at the Miami Design District. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s rich heritage, Bikoff designed one-of-a-kind furniture pieces inspired by archived Versace Couture looks.
The exhibit “Versace’s South Beach Stories” is an homage to the city of Miami and its influence on Gianni Versace’s designs. Bikoff designed a surfboard bed, ship chandeliers, and a shell chair, which were displayed alongside the couture pieces they reference. To name a few, the famous “Sun Top” worn by Kate Moss and the “Mermaid Skirt” worn by Christy Turlington, among others.
