That striking new stone façade on the corner? It's not just a building—it's the latest canvas for David Yurman, where jewelry meets art in the Miami Design District.
The American luxury brand, born from the creative partnership of sculptor David Yurman and painter Sybil Yurman, has chosen the Miami Design District neighborhood as a home for their newest flagship. It makes perfect sense—their story has always been about artists turning their talents to jewelry. Now led by their son Evan Yurman, the brand brings that same creative spirit to Miami.
"We are thrilled to be opening our new Miami flagship in the center of the art community," says Evan. "As a brand founded by two artists, this space reflects our family legacy and shared vision to create beautiful things that inspire us."
Working with Italian architect Andrea Tognon and Creative Director Bernadette Blanc, the brand has created a space where architecture and jewelry design connect. The stone façade with metallic paint creates what Tognon describes as "an incredible monolithic vision" on the street.
Inside, visitors will notice design elements that mirror jewelry craftsmanship - stone fixtures resembling precious settings and a stepped granite wall curved like a necklace. The brand's signature Cable motif appears throughout, from the handrail at the entrance to the circular display case beneath the staircase.
The second floor houses a private salon overlooking the Design District, featuring the brand's collections alongside pieces from David Yurman's personal art collection.
For Miami, they've created exclusive jewelry with colors inspired by the city - electric pinks, neon greens, cobalt blues, and fire oranges that reflect Miami's landscapes and sunsets.
The David Yurman Miami flagship is now open daily from 11AM-7PM at
178 NE 39th St in the Design District. For more information, visit davidyurman.com
