Skip the boring casseroles this year and have a chef handle Thanksgiving for you this year in the Miami Design District. Here’s where to go when you want a meal without the stress.

AN ITALIAN FEAST, ELEVATED

Contessa adds a more glamorous angle to Italian dining with its à la carte menu offered from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and again from 5 to 9 p.m. Expect whipped ricotta, spicy lobster capellini, and classic veal Milanese.

Dessert includes crème anglaise, lemon crostata, and rotating gelato flavors made in-house. It’s Thanksgiving with Milanese polish.

A TWO-STAR TAKE ON THANKSGIVING

Dine at Miami’s only two-star restaurant this holiday. L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon offers a five-course holiday menu for $295 from 4 to 9 p.m. The meal opens with a thin sunchoke tart, then moves to a Comté cheese soufflé with white truffle and Icelandic halibut poached in olive oil.

For the main event, choose between Mishima Reserve striploin with blackberry bordelaise and chanterelle or a refined take on Traditional Turkey. Dessert options include a caramel sablé tart or pumpkin cheesecake mousse.

FRENCH FLAIR FOR THE HOLIDAY

Le Jardinier brings modern French technique to Thanksgiving with a three-course prix fixe served from 12:30 to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The $165 menu starts with roasted beet salad, chestnut velouté, or chilled Maine lobster.

Mains include Traditional Turkey with roasted root vegetables and cranberry, Faroe Island salmon with grilled okra, or braised short rib with broccoli purée and croquette. Sides for the table include brussels sprouts, mushroom stuffing, and mashed potatoes. Dessert rounds things out with caramelized apple or pumpkin cheesecake mousse.

Cozy in Cote

If you’re craving Thanksgiving with a Korean-steakhouse twist, COTE is calling your name. Start with their playful Turkey Mandoo amuse, then dive into four cuts of USDA Prime and American Wagyu  paired with holiday sides like galbi jjim, kimchi jjigae, and those famous sweet potatoes.

And yes, dessert is their iconic soft-serve dressed up in full festive spirit.

Reservations from 1 PM – 9 PM via Resy (NYC + Miami) and SevenRooms (Vegas).

Thanksgiving Pies at Maman

Pie people, this one’s for you. Maman is rolling out the coziest lineup: classic pecan, creamy pumpkin topped with whipped mascarpone and pumpkin seeds, and spiced apple crumb with a cinnamon-oat topping. Each one is handmade, nostalgic, and perfect for your table  or for showing up as the star guest.

Order via catering@mamannyc.com.

Preorders open through Nov 24; in-store pickup Nov 24–26. Please allow 72 hours’ notice.

ITALY WITHOUT THE TURKEY TALK

For diners skipping the classic spread, the neighborhood’s Italian spots bring their own version of celebration. Mother Wolf leans into Roman comfort dishes like cacio e pepe, handmade pastas, and wood-fired pizzas that feel festive without being tied to the holiday.

Sofia keeps things coastal with veal Milanese, crudo, and a lineup of housemade gelato. Both restaurants stay open with full menus, letting guests build their own interpretation of Thanksgiving dinner.

The Miami Design District delivers Thanksgiving in every form: French elegance, Michelin caliber cuisine, and Italian comfort. Whichever route you take, dinner tastes better when someone else handles the cooking.
