The Design District obviously has no shortage of global fashion on any given day, but this weekend brings a completely different way to shop. Stitch Lab is taking over the third floor of Paradise Plaza starting this Friday, March 13 through Sunday, March 15, bringing together more than 40 independent Latin American brands under one roof.
Plus, entry is completely free, making it an incredibly easy stop if you are already in the neighborhood.
A Curated Fashion Experience
Instead of feeling like a massive, overwhelming trade show, founder Karina Rosendo designed this ninth edition to feel like a community shopping experience. The event focuses heavily on brands that prioritize ethical production and preserve their native artisanal legacy, which gives the whole event a lot more purpose. The racks highlight pieces that feel like true fashion gems rather than standard retail finds.

Guests of the event can browse Brazilian resort wear from Dress To, check out sustainable Peruvian pieces from Miami fashion-favorite Jenny Lopez's collaboration with PAMPA, and shop the exclusive launch of the second drop from Miami's own She by Ines Sheero.
The lineup goes well beyond dresses, too. Celebrity Dani Ospina is debuting her new activewear line, while Brazilian brand WISH brings a gorgeous selection of fine jewelry. They are also bringing in returning heavyweights like Project Runway winner Shantall Lacayo, legendary Dominican designer Jenny Polanco, and beautiful swimwear from Colombian brand Encantadore. Winter, who?
Beauty & Wellness Breaks
As we all know - shopping requires serious stamina, so the organizers smartly built in some beauty pauses to break up the afternoon, with Sofia Vergara’s Toty stepping in as the official beauty sponsor. They are focusing on suncare with their vegan, cruelty-free line, offering personalized shade matching and a 15 percent discount on your purchase.
If your hair is suffering from the humidity - and who isn't? - the Moncho Moreno team is running an elevated beauty lounge where you can sign up for complimentary dry styling sessions and hair care consultations right there in the plaza.
Cocktails + Community
You do not have to navigate the racks empty-handed. Voli 305 Vodka is pouring cocktails while you browse the collections. The spirits brand is led by Priscilla Perez and Pitbull, which adds a distinctly Miami energy to the entire room. It is exactly the kind of relaxed, highly curated shopping environment that makes you want to spend a few hours looking around instead of just clicking a button online.
