Stepping foot into the newest addition to the Design District, The Bazaar Project, is like stepping foot into another country. Which one? Well, it’s hard to say since the store offers a vast collection of home décor items and accessories inspired by owner Yeliz Titiz’s travels to Shanghai, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Seoul, France, Italy, Denmark, Sweden and more.
Titiz is a Turkish entrepreneur whose passion for fashion, design and one of a kind treasures propelled her to conceive this concept store and share her unique, worldwide findings with South Florida.
We’re happy she’s rested her wings in Miami as this global gift haven she’s curated carries a brilliant selection of items for any occasion or just because. From candles, coffee table books, tea cups (we’re coveting), pillows, Turkish rugs, soaps with an evil eye (rinse away bad germs and mojo), as well as jewelry (more on that later) the international inventory has a chic, contemporary feel unlike others we’ve seen. (Note, add more stamps to Passport).
In addition, you’ll find private label robes, vintage kilms as well as Sura, a line of gold and silver jewelry adorned with colorful semi-precious stones that Titiz created in 2010.
So whether you’re looking for a hostess, birthday or quick pick-me-up gift, or simply looking to escape without boarding a 747, take a stroll into the Bazzar. Bazzar Project, that is.
The Bazaar Project is located at 4308 NE 2ND Ave Miami, FL 33137. Hours Monday to Friday from 10:30 a.m. – 8:00 pm., and 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
