The company was started by an artisan wood-worker in 1925 and evolved into a luxury kitchen manufacturer in the mid-1900s. Led by architect Antonio Citterio, today Arclinea focuses on the melding of quality and design -- all products are covered by a five-year guarantee and each kitchen is completely unique.

Citterio's original kitchen design, called "Italia," takes elements from a professional chef's kitchen and adapts them for use in a residential home. Unique design elements include tensile, hygienic and indestructible steel. Arclinea is located at 4141 NE 2nd Avenue in the Design District. The showroom is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
