Stormy Weather

Typically at this time of the year when we hear the words ‘stormy weather’ we break out the Hurricane supplies, but when it comes to fashion, it’s all about deep, shimmering grey tones.  Cause a whirlwind in Anya Ponorovskaya’s grey dress with plunging neckline and flared bottom or for a more casual look, Maison Margiela’s crewneck jacquard sweater paired with relaxed trousers will cause dust to fly.  Find them at Anya Ponorovskaya, 35 NE 40th Street, (305) 677-5008 and Maison Margiela, 3930 NE 2nd Avenue, Suite 101, (786) 718-1931.

Oak Buff

No one will call your fashion bluff if you’re wearing Oak Buff, a golden yellow hue. Givenchy interpreted the shade with a Victorian-inspired ruffled dress that is ideal for gala season. Cashmere Rose

Roses traditionally symbolize love and this case it’s no different. Designers are in love with the sophisticated shade of pink that has a more upscale feel to it than seasons past. Delpozo sent a knitted dress down the runway this season that is playful in pink. Delpozo 35 N.E. 40th St, (305) 573-1009. Accessories are also copious in the color for fall, from Loewe’s color-blocked Puzzle Bag to Christian Louboutin’s "Dorissima" pump, all we can do is think pink.  Loewe 110 NE 39th Street, (305) 576-7601.
