It’s time to go nude. No, it’s not like that, we’re talking about the latest trend in footwear: nude shoes. The hottest color of the moment is barely there. From flats to pumps and everyday sneakers, we’re breaking down the bare necessities.

Elongate your legs? Yes, please. Slip into a pair of nude pumps to give your gams the illusion of longer legs.  Christian Louboutin’s sky-high Cherry sandal, which is part of the brand’s “nudes” collection, the platform sandal with toe strap and PVC ankle strap (for added illusion) is available in all shades of nude to cater to all skin tones. Another leg lengthener that also has PVC side detailing is Valentino’s pump.

Barely there boots? Burberry’s mid-calf boots have stretch knit mesh that fit like a sock and feel like second skin. The pointed-toe boots with a cut-out heel pays homage to artists Henry Moore's use of hollowed forms. Fendi is also an option if you’re looking for sock-like fit. The Rockoko Runway hugs the ankle and is finished with ribbed edging with white stripes and laces.

Nothing feels better than au natural and Burberry’s cotton trainers prove it. The nude sneaker is a run-around town must-have.  For a more sophisticated everyday shoe, Christian Louboutin’s Solasofia Flat is a pointed-toe ballerina that is chic and timeless and comes in many different skin tones. Fendi also has a pointy-toe flat in nude patent leather with straps that buckle up the ankle with Flowerland flowers blooming on the instep and ankle.
