KARYU marks the U.S. debut of Tokyo’s Michelin one-star Oniku Karyu, brought to Miami by Spicy Hospitality Group and designed in collaboration with Rockwell Group. Led by Chef Haruka Katayanagi’s team of protégés, the intimate 10-seat omakase experience showcases premium Tajimaguro wagyu sourced from Ueda Chikusan, a family-run, full-cycle Japanese cattle ranch in the mountains of Hyōgo Prefecture; KARYU is the only restaurant in the United States to feature wagyu from this farm. Rooted in Japanese precision and omotenashi yet shaped by Miami’s contemporary cultural energy, KARYU presents a refined kaiseki-inspired journey where seasonality, craftsmanship, and design converge.
