From graduation festivities to holiday dinner parties, there’s always a reason to get your friends, family or colleagues together. Throughout the Design District, some of the most renowned restaurants house beautiful private dining rooms perfect for any dining occasion – and make for an extra memorable meal.

At MC Kitchen, just named one of the country’s “Best New Restaurants of 2013” by Esquire Magazine, guests can reserve the “Chef’s Dining Room” that can accommodate up to 12 guests comfortably. The room is equipped with a state-of-the-art audio system, 72-inch flat screen, computer and iPod interface, making it the perfect place for an intimate dinner or a business meeting. The dining room’s menu is completely customizable and created by the restaurant’s Executive Chef Dena Marino starting at $75 a person.

The “Gallery Room” at Michael’s Genuine Food and Drink offers guests a special space to dine in the popular, James Beard award winning restaurant. The private dining room can accommodate up to 30 guests for a sit down dinner and up to 40 for cocktails and appetizers. If al fresco dining is more your style, its patio is also available to private parties and can seat up to 68 guests. Prix-fixe menus are offered for both lunch and dinner parties.

The private dining room at Egg & Dart carries on the ambience of the restaurant’s rustic environment. Located behind sleek frosted glass doors, the dining room can hold up to 40 guests and features a high tech video and surround sound systems. Guests can choose between several different set menus offered at various price points.

Just in time for the holidays, Oak Tavern will unveil its new private dining room. The Modern American restaurant will have a special area reserved just for private parties that will be able to accommodate up to 14 guests for lunch or dinner at a large communal table.
